Microsoft updates bandwidth

Is there anyway to control the bandwidth of Microsoft updates within a organization?
I looked into the delivery optimization and BITS
I appreciate your feedback.

Have you looked at something like WSUS or a paid product like SCCM or PDQ. Then its a central location from which the patches are downloaded/pushed and you have more control on what patches are installed and when.

@SIMON-TAPLIN is right. WSUS servers is how most AD on-premises environment would probably configure for control of updates. With an update server you can have all the updates downloaded to one machine. Then pushed out according to your update policies you've configured. SCCM is another option but with more control over the entire environment.

Thank you, @Ronnie-Wong and @SIMON-TAPLIN, for your feedback!
I'm aware of the WSUS for the domain environment. I was just looking for a policy setting that I can put in place through group policy that would allow the bandwidth not to be taken out so much by Microsoft and Microsoft updates as a temporary solution until we can get WSUS up and running smoothly.
I have put into effect group policies for the client PC for them to receive automatic updates. Setting the settings appropriately and carefully as not to install during work hours and giving them warnings and a threshold period.

Your original statement is probably what threw me off

Here is a link that you may find something that gives you all the policies you can adjust... None of them have to do with specific bandwidth from Microsoft Updates but there may be something you can do.

Reading back on what I posted originally. I was not clear and could have clarified what I was looking for more so. Thank your feedback @Ronnie-Wong. I will read through this article.
