network+ course video accuracy
-
I started watching Network+ course videos and I started wondering "Are these videos really following the CompTIA objectives"??
And on the videos of "Copper cables", it said "Cat 8 is not included for the exam."
I thought it was so I checked the CompTIA objectives and yes, Cat 8 is on the list.
I have checked my course and it is for N10-008. Not 007.
I like the courses how they explain the technologies but I also need to know all for the exam. I hope they check their contents and CompTIA objectives. -
@Chihiro-Tatsukawa , great question Cat 8 while being in the exam objectives is a cable that will most likely be only used in datacenters and is the official successor to Cat 6A, it provides 40Gbps at short distances and is a shielded cable. Cat 7 is not endorsed by TIA as it does not follow the official standard due to not conforming to the RJ-45 connector. I hope this helps and thank you for your time!
