How to apply the screensaver via Intune
-
Hi,
I hope that you are all well!
Could you provide the guide or thoughts how to apply the screensaver via Intune for Windows 10 Pro devices, please. What is the best way to implement? Where to store the file except the Azure blob. Could this be done via OneDrive or Sharepoint site created for the Screensavers? So I could uploaded the file there and provide the link in Intune.
It seems that the screensavers are only supported for Windows 10 Enterprise devices.
Could you provide the ideas for the implementation, please. Many thanks.
Kind regards.Lubo

I hope all is well. What exactly are you trying to do with the screensaver? The basic settings to control when it kicks in for instance can be set as noted below:
In Intune portal, you can navigate to Device configuration - Profiles, then you can create a new profile, and choose the Profile type as Endpoint protection, and find the setting at Local device security options > Interactive Logon > Minutes of lock screen inactivity until screen saver activates.
If you want to deploy a custom branded wallpaper and/or lock screen for devices via Intune, this is natively supported if your devices are running Windows 10 Enterprise or Education ONLY at this time.
If you want to see the steps to do so for Win10 Enterprise, then you can read up on them here:
Good Luck !!!
Cheers,

Hi Adam,
I hope all is well too. Thank you for your response. I appreciate it!
The device does not have the right version of the Windows. It has Windows 10 Pro where the screensaver is not supported.
Many thanks.
