Episodes on Roku
-
I noticed that the episodes on my Roku are in a different order than on the website.
I am new to I.T. so I was wondering if this mattered. Do the videos need to be watched in any particular order? -
Dustin,
Hey, glad to hear from you!
The Roku episodes are alphabetized to provide some order, we cannot list them the same way as on the website in an outline order. Each episode is meant to be stand-alone in the sense that you can watch a single episode and know that we've covered the topic. So in that sense the order isn't important if you're focusing in on a single topic or objective.
There is no particular need to watch them in order unless you don't have an understanding of a topic. We usually try to point those things out at the beginning of an episode and suggest you may want to review another episode as well as the current one.

Hey Ronnie,
thanks for the reply! I don't mean to be a pest and I certainly don't mind watching things "out of order" if you say it is not necessary but just out of curiosity would changing the episode names on Roku to include a number scheme (1.1 , 1.2, etc. ) allow you to place them in the same order as on the website?
I think getting a Roku channel was an excellent idea! I would have never found out about you guys otherwise and I have already recommended you to several friends.
Thanks! -
Dustin,
We're getting around to some of the changes like you mentioned. Your question about this is not the first to pop up. We're working on things to make it better every day! We're trying to figure out the best way to do this. We're also glad that you've found us on Roku and that you're recommending it to your friends as well!
