Roadmap of New Courses
-
Be careful with such a schedule of study. You can end up with study fatigue. I wrote an article that was addressed to those that were studying to meet the 23 February 2020 deadline for Cisco exams that apply to any exam too. You can see it here: https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/23-february-2020-your-exam-deadline-you-need-action-plan-ronald-wong/

Thanks for the roadmap, nice to see the new CySA+ and the AZ-500 on there. Are there any plans to do the MS-500 as well? I cant seem to find it on the voting page.
Also big thanks for the linkedin post ... with the Microsoft Certpocalypse upon us, i will have to keep that in mind. Will try to pass the 743 and 744 by the cutoff date ;)
-
I appreciate the link to the road-map.
I'm pretty disappointed that MS-300/MS-301 (Teamwork Administrator Associate) and MS-200/MS-201 (Messaging Administrator Associate) aren't on the road-map. I really hope it's revised and they're added.

From my personal experience, you can go with the legacy 70-345 with Ronnie and Brian Svidergol and add the Exchange Online course from Adam, to get most of the infos needed.
I passed the transition exam (ms-202) with that being the main sources. Adding in some mock exams and reading in the doc-library from Microsoft. Ok, granted, wasnt my highest score, but passing grade none the less.
-
Thanks for the suggestion.
I wouldn't think it'd be that hard for ITProTV to paste those 2 courses together and add a few episodes for anything new. That's basically what they did for MS-100/MS-101..
Any idea how well 70-339 covers MS-300/MS-301?
-
Hi Matthew,
sorry, even though i was interested in the 70-339 i never got around to read the exam ref or watch the course, so i cant say anything there. It was on my list for a long time, but got bumped off in favour of CompTia exams and my interest in the security field. Trying to get more knowledge along the Red/Blue Team activities :)

Please add those to the course request in our courses section. This is the official repository that is monitored. It gives our membership the ability to upvote requests that have been previously requested as well.
Thanks for being a member!
-
@Ronnie-Wong Thanks for the response. I did add them to the course request shortly after they were announced by Microsoft. The presence of certs that you've already done shows for, like MS-100 and MS-101, in the course request list with a status of "Public" makes me wonder sometimes how much that list is looked at. I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks again for the response.
-
I can tell you that the course request is part of our workflow. I cannot tell you how often it is pruned. I will bring this to the attention of team who handles this workflow.
-
@Matthew-Horvay HI Matthew, I apologize for any confusion. I do review those pages and I am responsible for missing those 2. Our course request process is fairly manual and we just talked about updating it this week and creating a better experience for our members. We are very interested in what content our members are looking for knowing that any additional courses we add we want to be able to update when needed. Appreciate your patience and we appreciate you watching ITProTV!
-
@Ronnie-Wong hey Ronnie, it's looking like the ENCOR refresh is going smoothly. Do you and Anthony have an idea of when it might be finished?
-
Our goal is to complete shooting that course today. Now that means there's other things we must do in post-production and checklists but the episodes should be compliete in our courses section probably next week.
-
@Ronnie-Wong Hey there! I take the test next week Tuesday. Is there any chance you could at least release some of the wireless and SD-Access stuff that's missing this weekend? It would also be helpful to just know what all you haven't gotten a chance to upload, that you think is necessary for the test.
Thanks so much!
-
The course is done. We completed course recording Friday, it should be up soon this week.
-
Just got out of the exam! I figured I'd let you know I passed!! Thanks a bunch for getting that content posted when you did. It literally made the difference in passing!
There was a ton on those exact subjects- definitely a different kind of test compared to the old CCNP. Anyway, on to the 300-430 ENWLSI: Implementing Cisco Enterprise Wireless Networks. It'd be awesome if you had some content on it :( That being said, do you have any recommendations on what I should do for that since it doesn't seem to be what you focus on?
-
Congratulations, I'll be sure to let Anthony know. We're going to be definitely doing ENARSI and then the CCNP Security and SP side of things. The wireless for us is a heavy lift on equipment without a lot of demand.
If you're looking for quickly, Anthony is completing the ENSLD for Design Specialist in the near future.
-
This is such awesome news @Daniel-Braine - can I post your success on my social? Leaving out your name of course!
-
Absolutely! - as long as my name isn't posted.
You guys were both awesome! Great energy. You made crushing through the course in 5 days pretty painless. I bounced around between that and the old CCNP course, but after taking it I can say the ENCOR course was really all that was needed.
The CCNP ENCOR is definitely not as technical as it was before all the new additions. Anyway, I highly recommend the course to any prospective test-takers! I even dropped ITProTV's name in my little survey afterwards :D -
@Daniel-Braine - thank you so much! There was so much more I wanted to add to ENCOR - but at some point - you just got SHUT UP. :-)
Besides - we will revisit it soon enough when Cisco changes things again!
I cannot wait to finish my current ENSLD and the ENARSI I will start with Ronnie.

@Ronnie-Wong said in Roadmap of New Courses:

Does that apply to the CWNA exam as well? So I shouldn't be holding my breath for that one?
