Certification Procedures

I have signed up with an aim to becoming CompTIA certified. Do I need to sit the certification exams with a third party, or does ITPro provide this service?

CompTIA is pretty strict about their examinations and they require that you take them through a third party. All of the CompTIA certification exams are proctored by Pearson Vue (http://www.pearsonvue.com/comptia/). They are the sole testing provider for CompTIA and they have testing locations all around the world. You can sign up through their web site and it will show you the testing center closest to your current location.
Of course, if you ever happen to be in Gainesville, Florida we have a Vue testing center right here in the building with us and you are more than welcome to drop by. I'll even buy you lunch :)
