How do I secure erase the trash bin? The course Apple Certified Support Professional 10.11 File Systems 3.2 Securing Data stated that in the Finder Menu would be "Secure Empty Trash". But I only see "Empty Trash". I don't know what to do, please help

I just conferred with Don on this and we believe one of two or the combination of two thing may have been the key:
- This may have been available in an earlier edition of El Capitan.
- This installation may have been on a mac mini with a conventional HDD rather than an SSD.
He knows it possible because it's in the show but that's the only logic that make sense since all articles are pointing to the fact that the feature is removed in El Cap.
The work around is from the Terminal:
srm -v
then drag the file into the terminal window for it's path to show up and press return.
srm-rv
if you choose delete folders.
