Project Management - PMP

Hey Team,
Quick questions RE: Project Management PMP certification.
One of the prerequisites for sitting the exam is 25 hours education time. Is ITPROTV and authorized source for PMI education that we can add to our transcript to then sit the exam?
Love your work!
Cheers,

Ben,
We are still in the process of adding content to our PMP show, so we have not yet submitted it to the PMI for approval. As a result, it does not count towards the exam requirements. We hope to have that changed by the end of the year, but for the time being our content is for exam prep only.

We hope to have that changed by the end of the year...
Hi Don:
I'm working my way through the episodes, as well as the Joseph Phillips book you recommended. I'm hoping your course will be certified in time for me to use it as PDUs with PMI. Where are you at with the PMI certification process?
Thanks,
Mike -
PMI approval is still a work in progress. Unfortunately, we don't have an ETA on it yet. As it stands, our course does not count as authorized training for the initial PMP application. However, it does count for PDUs if you are renewing. PDU Category B has a clause in it for courses offered by non-REPs (like us). You can claim 1 PDU for each hour of training. At this time, I believe our PMP training adds up to just over 25 hours so you should be able to claim 25 PDUs towards your renewal.
We'll keep you updated as our authorization moves forward.
