Hello Mr. Gordon et al, Are you able to share some insight on the status of ITPro TV's SSCP and CCSP ISC2 courses?

On another topic, I am particulary interested in Cloud security certification, however, it seems like a game of stalemate is happening, where each cert organization is waiting to see what the other ones going to roll out before they roll their updates out. Any insider news would be much appreciated from you and the team.

    Thank you kindly for sharing!

Hi Simon, Thank you for the tip on the webinar. I reviewed it carefully but it Adam did not address my general inquiry.

For clarity sake, I will rephrase it in 2 concise questions:

    1. Is there a revision cycle with the SSCP and CCSP exams (similar to the 3-4 year cycle of CompTIA)?
    2. Is ITPro TV planning to update the training material for the SSCP and CCSP accordingly?

Thank you for helping to answer those 2 questions.

Looking at the course names, they have the year it was created/added in. So I would assume that ITPro.TV would update/create a new course when a new version comes out. CISSP 2021 is in productions right now since SSCP was in 2019, I assume a new version next year.

Very true. However, I am mainly concerned about the CCSP course since the videos appear to have been released in 2016. Not sure it the ITPro TV training media relates 1:1 with the ISC2 2021 exam objectives. I would appreciate some meaningful details on this aspect. Thank you for sharing!

Bumping this topic as I am also looking to see what the status is for the CCSP. Do we have a timeframe on when we can expect an updated CCSP course?

    @FLM & @Joshua-Moore & @SIMON-TAPLIN , I hope everyone is well.

My apologies for missing this question/post from the beginning. We are not notified when a post is made to the forums, even if you mention us by name, and I did not see this one for some reason.

Specifically to address @FLM 's questions:

    1. ISC2 follows a 3 year revision cycle for ALL certifications... CCSP will update in August of 2022, and SSCP just updated in November of 2021, while CISSP updated in May of 2021.

    2. I am able to officially announce that I will be updating both the SSCP and CCSP courses over the next few months according to the following schedule:

SSCP will be 1st, and we will start on it towards the end of February, with it being completed and in the library/available no later than end of March.

CCSP will start sometime in May and will be ready and available for the August launch of the new exam outline later this year.

Hope taht helps everyone out for the moment...

If anyone has any questions specifically on either of these courses, please feel free to follow up with me directly via e-mail: adam@itpro.tv

    Cheers,

    Adam
