    Hello,

I am very confused with all AZURE certifications.

Please, could you advise here. IF I would like to focus in Project Management in AZURE Cloud what certifications path should I study taking in consideration that for Project Management I am already studying Prince2, Agile and ITiL4.

I think a professional niche could be in AZURE Project Management 1st and, later 2nd- focused in AZURE Project Management in Security.

    It could be: AZ-900 A.Essentials, AZ-104 A.Administrator, and AZ-500 A.Security Technologies . (with time I could add AZ-305 A.Infraestructure Solutions. plus Az-200??)

    Looking forward for your answer...

Hey @Jose-Luis-Gutierrez great question, and in a "sea" of certifications it can certainly get confusing. If you are looking to familiarize yourself with the Azure Platform, then AZ-900, AZ-104 combined are great choices from the administrative perspective:

    • AZ-900: Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals - learner's identify and explore the fundamentals of various components, services and offerings in Azure
    • AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator - learner's create and manage the various components, services and offerings in Azure
    • The AZ-104 exam earns the Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate certification.
    • If you your path takes you into the security space, you are correct, add:
      • AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies
        • This exam earns the Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate certification.
    • You can also look into the following exams:
      • AZ-204: MS Certified Azure Developer Associate
      • AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
      • These exams combined with AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator earns the Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification.

    • Exam AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/exams/az-900/
    • Exam AZ-104: Microsoft Azure Administrator - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/exams/az-104/
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/azure-administrator/
    • Exam AZ-500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/exams/az-500/
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/azure-security-engineer/
    • Exam AZ-204: Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/azure-developer/
    • Exam AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/exams/az-400/
    • Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/certifications/devops-engineer/

If you are looking at Project Management, Project Management Professional for USA or Prince2 for Europe is a good choice for the project management side of things.

For Azure, AZ-900 and then AZ-104 are the way to go.

    Hey @Jose-Luis-Gutierrez !

@SIMON-TAPLIN is right as to what you'll want to put on your roadmap to Project management in the Azure world. If you don't have the experience necessary for PMP, start with CompTIA's Project+ and PMI's CAPM. The PRINCE2 is updating and that might be something you'd want to hold off on until they get that all sorted.

    Best wishes and continued success!
