I HAVE CONFUSION IN PRI AND PRL WHEN I SEARHCED GOOGLE AND CHATGPT THEY ARE CONFUSIGN WITH PRI I THINK ITS PRIMARY RATE INTERFACE BUT CONFUSED. BUT THERE IS A QUESTION IN FLASHCARDS THAT WHICH CELL PHONE UPDATE IS AUTOMATIC PRI OR PRL. PRL IS PREFERRED ROAMING LIST. AND ITS UPDATED AUTOMATIC BY CARRIER. THE ANSWER IN FLASH CARDS IS PRI. BUT ITS FOR COMMUNICATION CHANNELS NOT FOR ROAMING . GUIDE ME

Hey @Mian-Talha-Zia, the confusion is in the acronym. You have two acronyms that are different topics, one to do with ISDN offerings for network connections called Primary Rate Interface or PRI. The next one is PRL, this is Preferred Roaming List or PRL, which has to do with cellular communications. The Preferred Roaming List is a database used by cellular devices (mostly CDMA-based platforms) and carriers to determine system selection when roaming outside of the main carrier's network and connecting to other "towers". With this context, the answer to "what update would update the PRL" and the answer should be OTA Firmware updates. These are over-the-air updates downloaded through the carrier's network to update the radios (such as baseband, Bluetooth, OS, PRL and more).
