I HAVE A QUESTION
-
Q. A MOBILE DEVICE HAS PERSONAL HOTSPOT. BY SHARING DATA USING THIS HOTSPOT TO OTHERS FAMILY MEMBERS IS CALLED HOTSPOT TETHERING. I CAN SHARE WIFI, CELLULAR DATA BOTH.
WHAT IS WIFI HOTSPOT. IS THIS SAME FEATURE AS PERSONAL HOTSPOT. I'M CONFUSED. I HAVE NOT FOUND MY ANSWER ON GOOGLE AND CHATGPT. -
Yes. Usually, wi-fi hotspots are standalone devices and not merely settings on phones. Technically, tethering is when you connect, physically a device to your hotspot "tethering" it to the hotspot. What you are doing is turning your that hot-spot into a Wi-Fi hub and allowing those devices connecting to that wireless hub to share the cellular connection.
