Wazuh and Splunk

Hello Itpro.TV team:

This question might be for Daniel Lowrie or Anthony Sequeira. Wazuh is a Siem/XDR and Splunk is a Siem tool. Would it be good to have them both as far as experience, or with both it would be redundant?

Hey Victor,

I say both. It never hurts to have more experience and knowledge. Splunk is an industry standard which makes it a very valuable skill to have in your toolkit. Wazuh's XDR capabilities should enable you to focus on the most important security events so you can respond more quickly.

Thanks @daniel-lowrie87 that's why I asked. I would like to add Splunk knowledge to my resume. Since Splunk is a leading brand and with XDR exposure I think it would place me in a nice spot. Thanks for your time.
