Leaving IT Pro

I am saddened to say that I will be leaving IT Pro and cancelling my subscription. I was so disappointed to see that Sophie Goodwin, Ronnie Wong and Wes Bryan were let go today. These peeps helped me through many training sessions here on IT Pro and on Technado and I just can't stay with fine people like them dropped.
I will be doing my online IT learning elsewhere. Maybe I'll be back if I can't find anything decent, but I don't think that will be the case.
Take care everyone. Keep on learning and getting better. Disappointed in the leadership of ACI Learning.

Yup. A total tragedy. This platform will take a nosedive and might not be around soon. What a total boneheaded move. This reeks of "get all the money now" short term thinking. I'm taking my money elsewhere. Looking at Pluralsight.

Cancelled too! I got a subscription because of Daniel and Sophie, and then really enjoyed Anthony, Ronnie, Wes, and Lauren on other courses. No point of having a subscription if all the talent that makes it worth having are now gone.

FYI, I learned that O'Reilly (book publisher) has their own learning platform and you may be able to gain access to most of it for free via your local public library.

I really hope ACI reads these comments , I will stick around a bit see how things play out but I am VERY upset of ACI decision here. This was a place not just where i came to learning but a place where i came to talk to like minded peers, I admit i don't use the forums as much as i should but i met a lot of people via their now canceled LIve channels where they used to show inprogress live recordings . ITProtv was very transparent and we lost that transparency since ACI took over.
I will truly miss the openness of the edutainers they always were open on email communication and connecting via social media ... I remember one day i was on the live channel and Tim Broom got on to test things it was 9 pm so it was just me as i watch recorded live content that aired that day... he gave me the best advice i keep with me.... 1. Rememeber to be humble and 2. Be open to change and embrace it... change was never easy for me but his advice helped... So i will take his advice here and embrace the change and hope that it turns out ok. I still like Practice labs on this site they still are the best out there .. I don't know how the videos will be without the familiar faces but time will only tell. I do really hope ACI will change their minds and try to get the edutainers back if it is not too late.
