MacOS VMs on VMWare Fusion

I've been watching the ACA shows and I'm floored by how well the Mac VMs are working on Don's MacBook.
I thought I had a pretty beefy MacBook but every time is set up a Mac VM it crawls on my Early 2015 Retina MacBook Pro. Windows based VMs work fine but the Mac ones are painfully slow.
Does Don have any VMWare Fusion Voodoo that he would be willing to share?
Thanks!

I had a chance to ask Don about this. Here's the secret sauce to making it work:
3 things:
- Run off the internal SSD.
- The HOST OS must be the same version as the GUEST OS version ( e.g. If you're running Yosemite 10.10.4 on the hardware your VMs need to run Yosemite 10.10.4)
- Make sure you're running the latest version of VM Fusion you can.
Hope this helps you ask. Try this. if any problems...please post again!
