CEH V9
-
Hello guys,
I am almost finishing the CEH that you have but I noticed that the EC council already released or is going to release the new version of this exam, do you have any plans in adding the new material that is going to be added to this new version?
By the way I love your videos!

@eduardo-araya
Thanks for the love! We appreciate hearing this. Sean Oriyano has a new book on CEHv9 coming out mid-2016 and we are talking to him now about scheduling a return visit to our studios. We have shared the feedback we have received about wanting more hands-on demos and we are expected a great show. I'll let you know when it is on the production calendar. -
After watching the series, I agree that live demos are sorely missed. All of the essential information is there. It would be cool if the guys used some un-patched windows VMs to demonstrate some of the tools.

Has there been any update on timescale on when the course material is going to be updated seeing that CEH V9 has now been released?

@Steven-Wright
Sorry for the delay in my response - we had a date on the calendar with Adam Gordon and I wanted to confirm that before I got back to you. The date we had has been pushed back to late May/early June. Adam wants to provide the best possible content and we want that too! Once I have a firm commitment I will post an update. -
Hi there Angie,
I have finished going through all the video and went to take check out the information regarding taking the test at the EC Council and discovered that in order to take the test you either have to be trained by them, or have to be able to prove 2 years security work experience in the Security industry (which I do not have). Is there no way to translate what I have learned with ITPRO.TV into a certificate without paying for THEIR training as well? Do you have any kind of relationship with the EC Council so that I can get the necessary code to take the exam? Thank you in advance for any help on this.

@terrence-danial
Unfortunately, we don't have an official relationship with EC Council. Many of these groups have these types of guidelines in order to make their certifications maintain their value. Maybe other members can help out and provide some creative alternatives to get the security work experience needed. Best of luck to you and please keep us posted.
