CCNA

Ronnie,
at the end of the CCNA videos series, you spoke about students getting the Devops certification because they will eventually need/use it while in networking. So is getting the AWS Devops engine certification will make me good at administering, configuring, troubleshooting, and setting up Active Directory on both windows and Linux systems?I got a little bite of taste mapping a drive to a share using "net use C:\room-gate\same.ate, during my comptia A+ studies and I love that part of networking so much because it's awesome and I want to make it part of my networking career so is getting the AWS Devops enginer certification will make me good at establishing group policies on windows and Linux or will that be cover in the CCNP exam?
What do you think Ronnie? What are my options after I have completed the CCNA and heading to CCNP?

Anything that helps you to understand the concepts and workflow of DevOps is something that everyone working in IT that is NOT end user awareness should have some foundation in DevOps.
So regardless of whether it's the AWS DevOps or the Dev Associate from Cisco, it is the future.
In terms of whether it a certification will make you good at something is all up to you. It will at least make you competent in the main areas. I say this, not flippantly, for example DevOps itself will not make you good at Active Directory configuration and troubleshooting. You will have to become good at it. It may help you to understand how policies are implemented but maybe not whether this is effective. So this will have to be experience. that drive.
First, you'll have to decide on which CCNP you want to begin: There are several: https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/training-events/training-certifications/exams/current-list.html#~certification-exams
then take a look at the exam topic coverage for each to know whether or not your plan will work for you.
In terms of what to do after CCNA for certification? I think you should take a look at the job you're aiming for or promotion or etc. to decide what is next. That is the best wisest use of your time, effort and even resources, imho.
