Running RSYNC with sudo Privilge
Solved

I'm trying to copy a home folder to a new linux computer preserving the ownership of folders/files using the following command:
sudo rsync -auvz -og --chown user1:user1 /home/user1/ admin@newcomputer:/home/user1/
admin has sudo privilege on both machine
user1 is a standard user on both machine
The copy fail with permission denied on the remote machine, so basically as admin i cannot copy any user home to a remote machine.
What was wrong there is way to do it?

With the permission denied error, I ask if the admin credentials on the newcomputer the same as the admin credentials of your own computer. It appears as if you do not have the correct credentials being used on the new computer.
