Intune - Microsoft 365 Apps for Windows 10 and later
-
@wes-bryan thank you for the response. Is there a way to deploy the Teams work version from Intune? Would I need to create a Win32 app deployment? Right now, we have an Office365Setup.exe file that is installed on our image.

@Brian-Fischer, here is the documentation of Microsoft 365 App deployment with Intune for reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/mem/intune/apps/apps-add-office365

@wes-bryan I think that documentation is the same steps you take in your video, but this installs the free and ongoing Teams, not the work or school version. Is there a way to to deploy the Teams work version from Intune?
-
@Brian-Fischer, when you deploy Teams, you are unable to login to the platform with your Microsoft 365 provisioned accounts?
-
Teams isn't installing at all this time so I don't know what else is going on. The other Microsoft 365 apps did. I think something is wrong with the sync though. I had to reinstall the Company Portal and I'm getting a message that this device belongs to another organization. I used the same device for testing as before, but I wiped it and deleted it out of Intune before re-enrolling it.

OK, this may be an enrollment issue. Still though, not sure why the others would deploy. I will keep looking into it.

You may want to look into a "BlockedAppsByRegions" policy, that could be the reason Teams is not installing. This is due to an unbundling agreement between Microsoft and certain regions. Please see the following: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/installing-teams-using-365-suite-from-intune-blocked-in-nl/m-p/3946275
Here is another article in the Microsoft Forums that may also be of assistance, to enable device logging. Then check the device logging for device configuration profile deployment errors. Also, checkApp Policy Protection Policy issues that can be problematic: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/i-am-unable-to-deploy-teams-thru-intune/166e47d6-7d46-452a-9fa9-860c1f921a26

That is what I see when I open Teams after the deployment. The user would have to click on Work or School at the bottom and to download it they would need admin rights which I do not give to most users.
-
@wes-bryan, have you had a chance to look at this?
-
@Brian-Fischer, I have not found a solution to your deployment issue, my apologies. Here is the troubleshooting documentation: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/troubleshoot/mem/intune/welcome-intune. This is the documentation I use for my deployment issues.
