Active Directory and New Microsoft Certifcations
-
Good Morning, do they have any virtual labs that deal with Active directory? In addition, what are the new Microsoft Certifications that deal with network administration purposes? I plan on getting my A+, Network +, Server+, however I need to know where to go from their, I know MCSE, MCSA I just need to know the new Microsoft labs and certifications.

There are plenty of Active Directory labs in our virtual labs offering. For example, you will see several in the Windows Server 2019 - Configuring and Maintaining module.
Two of the very popular "network admin" areas now for Microsoft is the new Microsoft Endpoint training and the big Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/certifications/windows-server-hybrid-administrator/

What sub-category will I find this information in Windows Server 2019 - Configuring and Maintaining module. I am trying to learn, how to Add/Delete accounts.

I went to the Virtual Labs option - then I clicked Microsoft. Then I selected Windows Server 2019 - Configuring and Maintaining. Labs numbered 16 through 23 all deal with Active Directory and also Group Policy.

Thank you so much

Can I use the last two above messages for the Hybrid 800 and 801 and the lab that Anthony gave me together?
-
Yes - I love to mix and match with labs here all of the time. Just because you are watching one course in our library - you can often find great labs in other courses that are perfectly appropriate to work with!

Good Morning, Anthony Sequeria, I have a question? Will I be headed in the right direction by taking the following classes? A+, Network+, Server+? In addition, The Hybrid 800 and 801 Windows Server 2019 -Configuring and Maintaining module Virtual lab does this lab work with the 800 and 801 Hybrid series as it relates to the Hybrid Administration Associate? That's the support role or job title I am interested in?

Good afternoon Dwayne! I believe, like most Tech Instructors do, that the ideal way to begin a technical certification journey is with A+ and Network+. The only time I would argue against this start would be in the case where the student already has expertise in these areas. For example, let's say the student has been working successfully for years repairing and upgrading PCs and mobile devices. Skipping A+ might certainly be warranted in this case.
Once A+ and Network+ are done - Server+ or Security+ are recommended depending on the path you would like to take. In fact, there are plenty of other CompTIA certifications that might be perfect for you at that point depending on your interests.
Once your CompTIA certs are completed, it is great to move to vendor specific certifications like those offered from Microsoft. What is tricky about recommended Microsoft certifications now is how many there are!!! I would use this tool to choose a path once it is time: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/browse/?credential_types=certification
