Microsoft MTA Exams 98-365, 98-366, 98-367
-
Hi,
I've completed the MTA 98-349 and passed the exam.
I'm eager to move onto the other 3 MTA exams but you don't seem to have covered them.
Are you planning to do these in the future or are they covered as part of other courses?
Kind Regards
Sigmund -
Sigmund,
Glad to hear you've been successful on the MTA. We're currently not planning on covering any more MTAs. MTAs like the CompTIA IT Fundamentals are really designed as stepping stone certifications that should lead you toward other certification like the CompTIA A+, Network+ or the Microsoft Configuring Windows 8.1 certification. Say that were not covering them right now doesn't mean we can't do it...and if demand is high, we may do it but right now, it's not in the works.
Congratulations from the ITProTV team on your success!

Hello Ronnie,
I recently passed the CompTia A+ 801 and 802 tests and I am working on Net+ now. From a career development standpoint would it be any benefit to get a MTA certification?
Thanks,
Bryan -
Bryan,
Not any real career development need to do the MTA. If you're were just starting out and trying to decide if Microsoft Career certification path was a proper path you might consider it. The MTA are usually for people that are considering a change in careers and want get some knowledge of the product before pursuing down a Microsoft Career path. The A+ certification covers just about everything you would have covered for the MTA. The MTA is just more Microsoft centric.
My apologies for the delay in response, I just about turned the computer off for the US Thanksgiving holidays and didn't look!

No problem. Thanks for the info. I think I'll just work towards Net+ right now. BTW looking forward to the upcoming Apple classes...
