RHSCA Eventually?

Hello Dom, and all ITpro team! So I love the Redhat linux set of course, and it actually does a good choice at covering many of the topics on the RHSCA exam. But do you have any plans on doing a dedicated exam series for the RHSCA and RHCSE exams in the future?

Hi Steve! I am sure we will here from Don soon on this. I just wanted to say hello as I am a fellow Linux learner here (when I am not teaching/prepping Cisco or GCP). I am a bit of a noob and I am starting with LPIC 1.

Please take a look at our course request link in our website. This the official request that is logged and monitored. If it's already been requested, then you can also upvote that. This gives us the ability to gauge what our members are requesting and may make it onto our library.
Unless things have changed with RHEL, the official course may still have to sat before you can take the exam...I'm not exactly sure if RH has changed that requirement or not. That may be one of the hold ups to ITProTV producing this course since we cannot offer the official training.. See Justin's comments below! -
Silly RedHat! There seems to have been a change in the policy. You CAN sit for the exam WITHOUT taking the official course.

We do not currently have RHCSA on the road map for ITProTV. For a time we were getting mixed signals on this one. Multiple people were telling me that you no longer had to take the official course which means we would be cleared to film it. However, I talked to two different Red Hat reps that told me that was not the case. Well, now it clearly says on their website "Attendance in these classes is not required; you can choose to take just the exam."
I put the LPIC-1 and LPIC-2 certifications on the road map for this year because they were good alternatives to the RHCSA and RHCE. I'll have to re-evaluate that now that the status has changed. The Red Hat certifications carry more clout than the LPIC versions.

Thanks for the reply and behind the scenes stuff! Good to know.. but yea I definitely will be heavily in support of touching on R.H material!

@Don-Pezet how would you compare the difficulty of the Linux+ exam to the LPIC, and the LPIC to the RHCSA?
