Course Hands-on with Teams - MS-700 ?

Hi,

I see that there's a course about Teams in production, called Hands-on with Teams. Does this align with the MS-700 certification from Microsoft? Does it cover the same topics?

I am also interested in the course, but I have seen that it has not yet been completed.
When will it be released? Including subtitles.

I hope everyone is doing well. So the show that I am finishing up this coming week, the Hands-on with Microsoft Teams show, is aligned with the MS-700 exam outline, BUT... BUT... DOES NOT OFFER 100% coverage of all the exam objectives.

The breakdown of what the show DOES COVER aligned against the exam outline is below:

Exam Objective Section #1:

Plan and Configure a Microsoft Teams Environment (45-50%) -

I COVER THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Plan and configure network settings for Microsoft Teams - ALL TOPICS
Implement Governance and Lifecycle Management for Microsoft Teams - 3 of 4 topics (NO Templates)
Configure and manage guest access - ALL TOPICS
Manage security and compliance - ALL TOPICS
Monitor and analyze service usage - ALL TOPICS

WHAT IS NOT COVERED IN THIS SECTION?

Upgrade from Skype for Business to Microsoft Teams
Deploy and manage Microsoft Teams endpoints

Exam Objective Section #2:

Manage Chat, Calling, and Meetings (30-35%)

I COVER THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

Manage chat and collaboration experiences - ALL TOPICS
Manage meeting experiences - ALL TOPICS

WHAT IS NOT COVERED IN THIS SECTION?

Manage phone numbers
Manage phone systems

Exam Objective Section #3:

Manage Teams and App Policies (20-25%)

I COVER EVERYTHING IN ALL THREE TOPICS FOR THIS SECTION (100% COVERAGE)

So.. you can see that the show covers the majority of what you would need to now, BUT... does leave out endpoints and phone systems as well as upgrades and migration planning.

Hopefully that helps you to have a better sense of what the show will be useful for, and how to approach studying for MS-700 if you were to use the show as a resource.... You have about 80 - 85 % of what you need in the show.

There's a video in this course called "Manage creating Office 365 Groups (Powershell)". It's the 5th video from the top. I can't open it, it doesn't show up in the right side of the screen.

Does this video belong here and can maybe somebody fix the link?

@Adam-Gordon I have almost finished the course and was thinking: would it be possible to record the other exam topics for MS-700 as well, so you will have a complete coverage of the exam? That way others can also study for this exam, which is probably in more demand now since the lock down and companies switching to tools like Teams.

I hope all is well. We do not currently have any plans to record the missing content, as you are the first member who has asked.

In order for us to track requests like this one, can you please submit this request on the course request link in the Courses section our site.

This is where we track all the course requests and you can see if it's been requested before and upvote it or if it hasn't then you can make the request. The more upvotes that these request gets the more likely they are to end up on our roadmap.

Please add my request to record the missing content for MS-700.
Until you do record the missing content, please turn your above post regarding the parts of MS-700 that are and aren't covered into a document download from the Overview video for the course.
Do you have any suggestions for learning the missing content other than reading and memorizing the Microsoft Docs pages?
The course request page seems to no longer exist.
