CCNP 1-6 Proposed Changed error

In this video you describe the potential effects of having mismatch K-values within a network as potentially causing asymmetric routeing and other misc bad things on the network. In reality your neighbor relationship would go down and debug IP eigrp events would show a k-value mismatch as the reason why neighbor relationships are not being formed.
I am pretty sure, but not positive, that the same thing would happen in OSPF if you change the reference bandwidth on one device but not another in the same area. -
Justin,
I ran a quick test on some lab equipment and you are absolutely correct. The adjacency immediately went down after the K values were adjusted. I had never actually configured a mismatch before, I just knew it would cause problems. We probably won't do a show edit for this one since the outcome is the same, but I do appreciate you pointing that out. I love it when I get to learn something new :)
