Question on changes
-
ITIL is on my list of eventual certs to get, but I wanted to follow up on an email I got.
The training is going to be accessible only with an exam voucher, is that correct?
Now, I'm going to eventually get ITIL 4 Foundation. But, then we have :"If you are taking an Intermediate/non-foundation exam, please note that you will not receive your official exam voucher until you complete your course. At the time of purchase, you will receive your ITProTV access code."
So to get access to the training for the exam we have to have a voucher, and to get the voucher we have to have taken the exam? -
You pay for the exam voucher, you are given a code to access the course via ITPRO immediately. Once you complete the course you will then receive the actual exam voucher.

wondering how this will work too... used to like to watch these to have the knowledge of the things in the videos but wasn't really planning on taking the cert exam, too many others on my list to get. Its a shame we cant just watch them for the knowledge after August ...
But anyways say I were to take the exam and buy the voucher how long will we get the access to watch the courses.
will the legacy itil courses be pulled from the library too? the non accredited ones in the legacy itprotv section?
-
@Brian-Bauer If you purchase an exam voucher, unlock the content with an access code, you will have access to the that content for the life of your active membership. Our original, non-accredited ITIL3 Foundation course will remain in the Legacy library. We appreciate the friction for members who want the knowledge without the certification, but in order to maintain our accreditation with PeopleCert, we need to implement the changes. Thanks for watching, Brian!

What about these who already watched the course, sat the exam and are certified, but would like to have access to it and re-watch it when they need to refresh their memory on certain aspects?
-
When I entered my voucher it indicates it expires after 1 month. This is the ITIL 4 foundations voucher.
