CCNA Course Videos and Practice Labs.
-
Hi there. I am new to ITVPRO and signed up for the CCNA. I have completed the Comptia Net+ using another course provider. The layout of this is very different. I just need help to understand. According to the videos when should I start the Virtual labs? I only watched the first three videos so far and then noticed the virtual labs icon. Should I watch videos first and then complete the virtual practice labs or do the first "Networking Concepts- Part One" in practice labs with the third video titled "Networking Components: Routers and switches"?
The practice labs do`t exactly measure up with the CCNA exam topics as per the videos, therefore it is a bit confusing. I just want to know what will work the best alongside your videos?
Thanks

The CCNA show that current have was completed before our lab partner had labs for the new objectives. So they will not match up.
All labs I created on that show were based around what could be done with the previous iteration of the labs from our partner.
I find that the best way to try and do this is watch the episode and if I do a demonstration is make sure you understand it, then try and see if you can replicate it in the lab....if not at least use their lab to gain a similar understanding of the concept. Now, as I've stated, the lab guide will not match up. So you will have to use them as complementary to one another since they will not match.

Thank you for the reply Ronnie.
I will complete the course as you stated - "watch the episode and if I do a demonstration is make sure you understand it, then try and see if you can replicate it in the lab....if not at least use their lab to gain a similar understanding of the concept."
I will continue to watch videos and follow your demonstrations and exercises as per videos, along with the along with the practice labs to ensure the topic is fully understood and I can replicate the exercise.
Wish you all the best and thank you for the help.
