In the Kaplan flashcards for CompTIA - XK0-004 LINUX+, question ID # 1222922 asks "Which command will change your Linux computer's time zone?" The correct answer is listed as "ln". Unless i'm mistaken (always a possibility LOL) this is not correct.

timedatectl
I think will let you change the timezone. On an earlier linux distro, if
timedatectl
isn't available, you can create a symlink to/etc/localtime
to the time zone in the/usr/share/zoneinfo
directory. Hence maybe the use ofln
but in anycase, they should have completed the command for us.You may want to send this to kaplan directly, so they can enhance or correct the answer.

Thanks Ronnie! I was thinking that it was just a mismatched entry on the part of Kaplan, but your explanation of the origin makes sense.
