Hello,
I recently achieved ITIL 4 Foundations Certification and got my digital badge. As a result of getting certified I received a free one year subscription to My ITIL. I am interested in keeping my Digital Badge Current and its my understanding that you have to log activities in My CPD Dashboard. This all feels so overwhelming. Im just a Field support tech for an MSP what can I really do to make an impact? How do I go about logging activities?

Hi @Nicholas-Pineiro !
Great question and I can understand how it can be a bit overwhelming. According to AXELOS, you must complete 20 points' worth of activities linked to the product you registered with within a 12-month period. Five points must come from the Professional Experience category, but the remaining 15 can be earned from activities across the Training and Qualifications, Community Participation and Self-study categories. Click HERE to go download instructions on how to use the CPD Dashboard.
Here's how AXELOS explains getting those points:
"One point equates to one hour’s worth of effort and you can record a minimum of 30 minutes, or 0.5 points, up to a maximum of 15 hours or 15 points. For Professional Experience, to gain the five points, you will need to list five activities that you undertake within your role and that link to the skills and behaviours expected of your role."Once you have your digital badge, you will then have the remainder of your subscription period to achieve an additional 20 points. Remember it's £60 to renew every year (about $80-$85).
Best of luck and CONGRATS on achieving your ITIL 4 Foundations certification. Check out the ITIL Specialist and Strategist courses if you want to continue your journey.

If anyone can answer this question for me, please email me the answer to me at dbeltonemails@gmail.com. I am certified in CompTIA A+ Net+ Security+ and about 3 weeks ago CCNA. I tried getting a job and I am not getting interviews at all. I am thinking that an ITIL certification will help me find a job but I am not sure which ITIL certification to get to easily find an IT or Network job. Can anyone help me.

If a company wants an ITIL Certification, it is generally the ITIL Foundations certification.

Hi David,
@SIMON-TAPLIN is correct. Getting the ITIL 4 Foundation certification will be a great help in getting your resume noticed. It also helps with giving you an understanding of the why companies use IT.
Cheers!
