Hey there @Sdeepan-Subramani
Well I believe you found the right place! We have quite a bit of Linux training and one of the best places to start is https://app.itpro.tv/course/linuxbeginners/overview-linux-beginners
From there you can expand your knowledge and even get into specific distros like RedHat. There is even training for the LPIC certification. Best of luck and enjoy!

Download VirtualBox and then download a Linux Installer DVD. Ubuntu or Centos. Then install them as virtual machines in VirtualBox. You can then experiment and break things without affecting the rest of your PC.

I recommend buying a refurbished Dell or HP server with a support pack still on it. It comes usually with Xeon processors, gigabit networking, a lot of RAM and SAS storage. My HP DL360e was about $1500 with 15 months left on the Carepaq for 12 cores, 96 GB RAM, 5.6 TB storage in RAID 10 SAS. I was able to install 9 VMs on it. I upgraded VMWare Standalone 6 (Free) to Essentials Kit so I could backup on VEEAM. I am looking as a VMWare 6.7 or 7 capable refurbished server for next year. This way you can use your workstation for studying and SSH / RDP into Linux servers to study from.
