Lab question MS-101
-
I saw in MS-101 for the lab that you recommend the 30 day trial. Will the developer subscription that comes with E5 cover this? I don't think i will be able to finish studying for the test within 30 days and the developer subscription comes with E5 subscription that renews every 90 days. Will that cover everything for this course?

@Tracy-Ratz , I hope all is well. An E5 license, along with an Azure AD P2 level/license does cover most of what you need, but as you see during the course, there are additional add-ons that are necessary as well, such as the Microsoft Cloud App Security/CASB solution, Endpoint Management with Intune as well as M365.
The best thing to do is to work at your pace and cover as much ground as possible as you study, but create a plan that allows you to work on the theory and the background knowledge acquisition BEFORE you kick off / start your demo licensing, so that you maximize the time you are able to spend doing things to reinforce your skills.

Any ETA on the new MS-101 course? I was hoping to try to finish that cert by the end of the year and see the original course while helpful is outdated (business store, windows 8,1, windows mobile).

Have a look at the Microsoft 365 Developer program, E5 access for 90 days instead of 30.

@Tracy-Ratz , I hope all is well. The course is Up and Live in the library as of today, 11/5/21. :) There are two episodes that need to be added as updates to accommodate the most recent exam updates Microsoft has just announced that go into effect on 11/24/21, but other than that, the course is complete.
