CCNA Course
-
Hi Ronnie,
I thought it's best to contact you and ask you about the CCNA course that I see in production on the dashboard. I am currently working towards my CCNA now. Are you modifying the course?
Thank you,
-
The course content is not being modified. Originally, when we produced the course, it was during a time a lot of changes to production look and flow of the course. There were many production inconsistencies that I wanted to fix. So instead of a mix of 30 minutes and 20 minute episodes..these will all be about 20 minutes long. You'll notice a stylistic change in production too. As well as about 6 different hosts...I think.
So the objectives have not changed. This will be refresh to match the current production styles and to reduce the inconsistencies and maybe improve the typos or verbal blunders I had the course. This new course will still be based on the current 200-301 objectives released in June 2019. There have been no official changes...yet!

Hey Ronnie,
Work wants to pay for a CCNA cert for me. I get nervous when I use other people's money because I have bad test anxiety and don't want to waste other people's money if I fail. Do you think Cisco CML2 is worthwhile for the CCNA labs, are they fairly easy to set up they seem to like it in your HH course you did? just not sure if this is for the CCNA or is the intended purpose for more advanced courses?
Thanks,
BrianHoping i can stay focused on one area long enough to pass the test i tend to drift into other topics :(

With the ITProTV CCNA course, you'll have access to real Cisco equipment via our sister company, Practice-labs.com. This should give you the confidence to work with real commands and even guided labs if you choose. I tend to to use them, even as a sandbox many times to test things.
The CML2 is a great environment. It is ramp up time that you must learn to work with and configure. It is relatively intuitive. At the same time, it is an annual cost for the licensing but you will gain access to the IOSv images which is 100% cisco.

just remember timing is key on this exam. You only get one pass through...so make your answer is the final answer before moving on. Review your exam objectives, if there is any topic you don't feel you can do at the level of the verbs describes...makes sure you can before sitting this exam.
