Cisco 350-701 Coding question
-
Hello Anthony and Ronnie,
First of all I would like to thank you for your efforts you put in this course, I am studying the Core security for more than a year now and I had been subscribed for 2 other platforms but I can tell that yours are the best.
I do have a question that make me anxious and delaying the exam booking and it is about Python and Coding questions in 350-701.
While I was watching the Python script episode in the cisco 350-701 Anthony mentioned that we don't need to be familiar with Python codes, that took me about 11 months back when I did my 350-701 first time exam and I faced 4 questions about Python, all of them was a screenshot of a long code and then the question about that code and to get the answer you really need to be have a solid coding background.
So wondering if I can get an advise for this particular part, that would be much appreciated!

My apologies for the delay in answering this questions. It really did slip through the cracks so to speak.
Since the ENCOR is more about Enterprise Technology the coding snippets, though long, are more than likely looking to see if you understand the basics of coding rules in python, or are you missing an argument or punctuation.
At the time when Anthony and I recorded ENCOR, it was really small coding blocks and they seem to emphasize the idea not of interpreting the code but the formatting or was something simply missing.
If that has changed since, then it's time we re-evaluate that and possible add in some material or reshoot the course. It does happen since this course was recorded right before the pandemic.
