Cisco HTML files for web interface (trouble finding)
-
I having a hard time finding the web files for any of my Cisco switches that we have in our network. We've got a couple of switches that had some issues in the past and another IT guy, wiped them completely. He then reinstalled the IOS boot image and reconfigured it. However, ALL the other files were lost. He didn't really know much about what he was doing, and I know quite a bit about configuring the switches but have never used the web interface. We've got a few special cases now where we need them occasionally, so I've figured a way to startup the interfaces while they are needed and shut them down when they aren't for security reasons. However, I don't have the files on those two devices. I'm only worried about one of them mainly, because I have several of the one of the switches and will just copy the files from a working one to put on it's matching model. But I've searched the Cisco website for the other one and I can only seem to locate the IOS image. Can someone please help me find where the files would be downloaded from? Perhaps this model doesn't have the files, I'm not sure. I've inherited this network. It is for a Cisco C9200-L-48P-4X. It's currently running IOS-XE 17.6.4. I'm assuming that the files from one switch model are not compatible with another, correct?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,

Each switch will have it's own special version of the IOS-XE because they are unique to the hardware chassis. Do verify that you've enabled web access to it and you have an IP address on the device that is reachable from the network.
