From CompTIA Project+ to PMP
-
Hello @Chris-Ward,
I'm on the verge of taking the Project+ exam, and I'm feeling quite confident about passing it. I'm curious to know if I could utilize the CompTIA Project+ certification to fulfill the 35 hours of training requirement, or if I must specifically use a certificate from ITPro.TV. Could you please guide me on how to ensure the 35 hours of training are reflected on the certificate?
I greatly appreciate your assistance!

Hello @Esau-Meza !
Best of luck on the Project+ exam. I'm sure you will rock it.
As far as the required 35 hours, You would want to put on your PMP application that you viewed both the CompTIA Project+ course and the PMP Exam Prep course. Combined they equal 37 hours. You can merely put the two courses in the application and state that they are from ACI Learning. If you get audited, you will need to produce the Course certificates from both courses. You can always request those once you've finished watching both courses!
As a side note, if you wanted to get the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), that would also qualify you for the Education portion of the PMP exam application.
Let me know if you have any further questions!
