CISCO Grading...
-
So last Friday I took my CCNA exam. I have been working with Cisco for 10 years on and off from all the way back to the PIX days. Have taken classes and understoof it all. After the exam, I got a "Pending" status but all my metrics it reported were fine. Lowest one, security, was at 50% as the lowest. 24 hours later I get my grade of "Fail" Not anything useful other than "Fail" Do they not give you any possible metric you can gauge yourself on anymore?

I been recertify for years and one recommend approach i use the practice exams metrics as a guide and target 85% or higher to be ready for the test.

Hi Charles!
Cisco is still providing a percentage breakdown of how you did in each section. The problem is - they are no longer emailing this information - you have to find it online as part of the Pearson Vue system. Here is a discussion about this that provides the correct bread crumb trail to find it.

Of course we are standing by to help you with those areas you need to improve upon so let us know of any technical questions you have as well.

@Anthony-Sequeira-0 I got that, but looking at that just makes me question how I failed even more. I saw people in my group do worse than me in that and pass. Nothing I had was below 50% they had 2-3 that was below 50%. Its just confusing.

Ahhh yes - I see what you mean...yes - even with the report, we get very little detail. In fact, no real detail at all. They should just show use the original exam objectives and highlight which objectives we failed questions on. Boy would that be nice....
