Interface Range

Let's say my interfaces are as such:
Interface- GigabitEthernet0/0
- GigabitEthernet0/1
- GigabitEthernet0/2
- GigabitEthernet0/3
- GigabitEthernet1/0
- GigabitEthernet1/1
- GigabitEthernet1/2
- GigabitEthernet1/3
Now how can I incorporate all of these interfaces in 1 "interface range" command?
I tried multiple combinations of syntax
gig 0-1/0-3
gig 0/0-3 ,1/0-3the only one I found that worked was
Switch(config)#interface range gigabitEthernet 0/0-3 , gigabitEthernet 1/0-3Do you really have to enter the type of interface for every slot?

As far as I know you're going to have to do exactly that.
There is no interface range command to apply to every single port on your switch that I know of if you've got multiple cards or blades or slots that are filled.
