Episode \#00010111 resource links
-
HI there,
In episode #00010111 of MCSA Windows Server 2012, you mention links to a couple of Microsoft resources - step by step guides for configuring ISATAP and Teredo that you covered in the show. These don't show up in the notes under the episode - any chance you could add them? Thanks!

I have added my notes, which covered Teredo tunnels, but Ronnie had the notes for the ISATAP portion of the show. I will get with him tomorrow and have him post his notes also. In the mean time, Microsoft has a great step-by-step for setting up ISATAP in a lab posted here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc775579(v=ws.10).aspx. It is pretty exhaustive and covers other IPv6 related technologies also.
Thanks,

Well, it looks like I just spotted a bug in the new layout. Our show notes appear to be losing formatting. I'll get he web guys to look in to it in the morning, but until then, here are my notes that I mentioned:
Teredo Tunnel Overview ---------------------------------------- http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457011.aspx Steps to Enable Teredo Tunneling ---------------------------------------- 1) Point your Teredo client to Microsoft's public Teredo proxy: netsh interface ipv6 set teredo client teredo.ipv6.microsoft.com 2) Enable Teredo for domain systems: netsh interface ipv6 set teredo enterpriseclient 3) Verify Teredo config netsh int ipv6 show teredo 4) Create default route route print (Get ID of Teredo interface) netsh interface ipv6 add route ::/0 interface=58

That is very helpful, thanks.
I couldn't quite get my ISATAP routing to work with my VMs when I followed the episode, so I will try again with the Technet article. -
I spoke with Ronnie this morning and he attached his notes to the episode also. He listed the exact steps he followed during the show. Let us know if you have any issues with it.
