The Sample papers are available n the download files of the 1st full episode entitled "The ITIL 4 Foundation Exam". At the end of the series we also have 2 episodes entitled "ITIL Sample Paper", where I review one of the sample papers.

These sample papers are also available on the Axelos ITIL4 page of their website.

If the are ISO 27001 then I would hope they would have network diagrams and plenty of documentation.

My starting point would be Network Diagrams, Server/Systems documentation and Security posture reports. If they are using monitoring tools, you might get a network diagram from this.

Yes, as long as you not only watch the content but you fulfill the assigned coursework laid out in the episodes as they are presented by the accredited ITIL instructor. This will give you the proper number of contact hours to meet the requirement for sitting the exam.

I just finised the Event Management episode. Very good information here. The only experience I had before was the ad-hoc things we do for Event Management (and monitoring).

Some key points for me:

There are three specific event categories (set by ITIL) The Event Trigger is the response to the event Key to someting being an event is that it is logged somewhere Monitoring is not the same as Event Management

As with Incident and Problem management, the overall goal is the minimize disruption to the business.

IT Pro TV is my 2nd source for ITIL Foudnations training and I had the same reaction you are expressing here at that point in the Service Design video. In my other training Service Portfolio included everything in the service pipeline, i.e. planned services, existing services and retired services. Whereas Service Catalogue only included existing services.
When I did a search to check which training was correct I came upon your same findings also.
I believe Don did swap them when he was doing the Service Design videos.

A little further digging found the following definition of a CI:
"Any component or other service asset that needs to be managed in order to
deliver an IT service. Information about each configuration item is recorded in a configuration record within
the configuration management system and is
maintained throughout its lifecycle by service asset and
configuration management. Configuration items are under the control of change management. They
typically include IT services, hardware, software, buildings, people and formal documentation such as
pr
ocess documentation and service level agreements."
