Good afternoon Dwayne! I believe, like most Tech Instructors do, that the ideal way to begin a technical certification journey is with A+ and Network+. The only time I would argue against this start would be in the case where the student already has expertise in these areas. For example, let's say the student has been working successfully for years repairing and upgrading PCs and mobile devices. Skipping A+ might certainly be warranted in this case.
Once A+ and Network+ are done - Server+ or Security+ are recommended depending on the path you would like to take. In fact, there are plenty of other CompTIA certifications that might be perfect for you at that point depending on your interests.
Once your CompTIA certs are completed, it is great to move to vendor specific certifications like those offered from Microsoft. What is tricky about recommended Microsoft certifications now is how many there are!!! I would use this tool to choose a path once it is time: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/credentials/browse/?credential_types=certification
